How To Make A Delicious, Nutritious And Safe Birthday Cake For Dogs

We made a very special birthday cake for QQ on her 12th birthday. All the ingredients are natural and healthy, without additives, preservatives, or anything that dogs cannot eat. We didn't use any fit-for-human ingredients, which may not be fit for dogs, such as refined sugar, butter, wheat flour, baking powder and custard powder.

1. Use the Chinese pumpkin as the cake mould. The top piece is the dome end of the pumpkin and the bottom piece is the body.

2. Peel off the pumkin peel until you see the golden body.

3. Steam it for 6 mins

4. Cut out the bulk inside, leaving the shell behind.

5. Shred a couple of sticks of steamed sweet potato and carrot and the cut out pumpking flesh.

6. Add SERAFINO extra virgin olive oil and RARE Manuka honey UMF20+ and mix them well.

7. Stuff the hollowed-out pumpkin body with the mixture.

8. Fill up the top of the mixture with crumbles of freeze-dried PON Lamb Combo. No need to rehydrate it

9. Place the dome on top of the body.

10. Remove the egg yolk from a steamed or boiled egg and shred the egg white finely.

11. Sprinkle the shredded pieces of egg white on top. The effect looks like snow flecks.

12. Finish with inserting a candle on top and other decors of your choice.

This is the first time I made it. The presentation can be further refined.
